How to enable Javascript in your browser

The following instructions describe how to enable JavaScript in your browser. If your browser isn't listed, please consult its online help pages.

 Internet Explorer 8

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools from the top menu.
  3. Select Internet Options in the menu.
  4. Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window.
  5. Click on the Default button of the window.
  6. Move the slider so that it is on one of the levels below Medium High (including Medium, Low, Accept All Cookies).
  7. Save changes by clicking OK.

 Internet Explorer 7

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools from the top menu.
  3. Select Internet Options in the menu.
  4. Click on the Security tab.
  5. Click the Custom Level button.
  6. Scroll down to the Scripting section.
  7. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Select YES if a box appears to confirm.
  10. Click OK. Close window.
  11. Reload page.

 Internet Explorer 6

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools from the top menu.
  3. Select Internet Options in the menu.
  4. Click Security tab.
  5. Click Custom Level.
  6. Scroll down till you see section labeled Scripting.
  7. Under Active Scripting, select Enable.
  8. Click OK.

 Internet Explorer 5

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools from the top menu.
  3. Select Internet Options in the menu. (A new window will open.)
  4. Click on the Security tab near the top of the window.
  5. Click on the Custom Level button near the bottom of the window.
  6. Scroll down to Cookies in the new dialog, and set both "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies to Enable".
  7. Click OK.

 Mozilla Firefox 2 & 3

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. Click Content in the Options list.
  4. Under the Content section, check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
  5. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
  6. Check the appropriate boxes under Allow scripts to.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click OK.

 Opera 7, 8 & 9

  1. Open Opera.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Preferences.
  3. Click Content in the Preferences list.
  4. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
  5. Click the JavaScript Options button to open the JavaScript Options box.
  6. Check the boxes that you want to allow.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click OK.

 Apple Safari

  1. Open Safari
  2. Select Safari from the top menu.
  3. Choose Preferences.
  4. Choose Security.
  5. Select the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript.

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.
