Backlighting and a white tower fooled the camera meter into underexposing this image. Exposure adjustment restored the white of the tower and clouds.
The original image had a very strong blue cast. Colour correction restored the warm hues of this beachscape.
The contrast between the sunlit snow and shaded trees was too much for the camera's sensor. Highlight and shadow adjustments restored detail and texture in both highlights and shadows.
The original picture was rather bland and needed more punch.
Intrusive objects such as cables and arials, highlighted in the original image, have been removed, leaving a cleaner image.
Converging verticals resulted from tilting the camera to shoot a building in a narrow city street with a wide angle lens. Perspective correctioin restored the straight vertical lines of this building.
There was a distinct lack of shadow detail in this image, which has been restored with careful adjustment.
The original sunset image was washed out and uninteresting. The intense colours were restored and the exposure adjusted to produce a much more interesting and appealing image.
